Los Angeles

The second most populous city in the USA, situated in southern California.
(what else am i going to write... it's freaking LA :3)

She arrived with Joachim, taking a moment to identify all the sights unravelling around her. 'Wow, that's a bigass sign.' she pointed to the hollywood sign in the distance, before remaining otherwise quiet.

"Ain't it? It's one of the best places I've ever been!"

'We should try and sit up there sometime.' she mumbled, searching the area for some sort of club. 'I've no idea where to start..'

"That's the whole point, right? Not knowing, leaving it up to chance..."

'Fine.' she was more reluctant to leave her fate to chance than she first seemed, but she'd go along with it. 'Come on.' she set off down the road, looking.

I walk through, looking for just the right thing to do first.

A pair of women round the corner just as they do, speaking in snooty tones and flicking back their clearly dyed hair. They donned flashy clothes and seemed to have splattered makeup on their face with a trowel.

'I must say, I'm sick of running into urchins and beggars... Rick told me that LA was the place of the rich and famous.' her nose wrinkled as she gossiped with the other girl, causing Amaya's fists to clech.

what i wouldn't give to scam them right now..

I smirk at her and mouth to her, 'watch this.'

I go up to them, "Excuse me, ladies!"

The woman stopped mid-sentence, turning a lazy eye to Joachim, interrupted. 'What do you want?' her response was grating, irritated.

Amaya took a few paces back, watching with curiousity.

Presenting myself like a businessmen, exposing a grand falsehood of the competition, "Seems someone has played a cruel trick on you. Is that hair product the 'latest fashion'?" I make air quotes.

Amaya practically hid, clapping a hand over her mouth to stop herself laughing.

'OMG!' the other girl exclaimed, staring with her mouth open. 'That's so impolite!'

I raise my hands up, hiding my delight at their astonishment. "Oh don't worry, you're not alone in this. Dozens of women have been duped by this scheme."

"But I can tell you there IS hope!"

'What scheme?' their eyes narrowed, almost speaking over each other. 'I have a personal stylist, he knows what's best for me, he cost enough.'

"Ohh.." I look at them piteously, "It wouldn't happen to be Richie from Hypnotic Salon would it?"

OOC Just say it is, trust me.

'Yes..' they answered hesitantly, warily.

"The products he uses... they're guaranteed to make ya lose your hair." I show them some pictures of some bald women.

'OMG!' the second girl repeated, threading her fingers through her dyed brown hair and staring at it wildly, checking it wasn't about to fall out. 'You're kidding!'

"Don't panic, don't panic!!!" I reach into my bag and show them what looks like a legitimate shampoo, "I got the remedy for it..."

'How d'you get that?' Whilst the brunetter was still clutching at her hair, the blonde watched him carefully.

"a friend of mine went through the same thing you two are. And now I'm helping poor women tricked by this."

"At a price of course..." Hook... line...

The blonde nodded reluctantly, fishing for her purse in her oversized handbag. 'How much?'

And sinker...

"Well, normally 900 galleons, but because you seem like nice gals, how about 500 galleons AND you apologize to my friend?"

ic She scoffed, peering around. 'What friend? I have nothing to apologise for.' It was only then that Amaya stepped out of the shadows, plain faced.
